This week I will be joining Charlotte Watson of Wonderlearn English to record an interview which will be released the following week as part of Children’s Mental Health Week. This is a topic very close to my heart, so when Charlotte approached me to participate in this event, I jumped at the chance to spread the word!
We will be discussing anxiety and how it particularly affects children in Maths and their ability to cope with anything ‘Mathsy’. I will be giving plenty of tips and ideas to help bring down ‘Maths Anxiety’. Although I specialise in teaching Maths to Neurodiverse children, many of the techniques are also applicable for children learning other subjects too.
Do look out for my interview and the other five as they are released during the week 7-12th February. They will be available in the 11+, ISEB, SATs, GCSE & A-Level Resource Group run by Agness O’Brien.
